Ethylene propylene rubber includes copolymers of ethylene, propylene and minor quantity of diene. Vulcanisates on the basis of that rubber show resistance to ozone and atmospheric factors. They are good electrical insulators.
Rubber mixtures based on ethylene-propylene rubbers are recommended for seals working in aquatic systems, mechanical washing machines and in hydraulic systems.
