Fluorosilicone rubber is fluorinated methyl silicone rubber. In comparison to silicone vulcanisates, fluorosilicone vulcanisates have better physico-mechanical properties, greater resistance to tearing, smaller permanent deflection by compression, they are more resistant to propellants, mineral and synthetic oils and lubricants.
Fluorosilicone elastomers are resistant to atmospheric factors, ozone, ultraviolet radiation.
